Technical Sales Manager – Security Systems

About Loktec

Loktec is a forward-thinking security solutions provider specialising in Security systems, including access control, CCTV, ATM Security and security services. We deliver innovative, high-quality solutions to commercial clients across the UK, with a strong focus on cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue, lead from the front, and play a key role in shaping our sales strategy.

The Role

This is a client-facing position combining technical expertise, sales leadership, and strategic development.

You will be responsible for:

  • Driving new business growth across access control, CCTV, and alarm systems

  • Managing key accounts and developing long-term client relationships

  • Leading the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close

  • Conducting detailed site surveys and designing tailored security solutions

  • Producing high-quality technical proposals and tenders

  • Working closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Identifying new market opportunities and contributing to business strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in technical sales within the electronic security industry

  • Strong technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder alarms

  • Demonstrable success in winning and delivering commercial projects

  • Ability to design systems and present solutions confidently to clients

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills

  • Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with systems such as Salto, Hikvision, Dahua, and Texecom

  • Knowledge of cloud-based and integrated security solutions

  • Previous experience managing or mentoring a sales team

  • Experience working with enterprise or multi-site clients
