Diester Terminals
User identification and control tasks
To gain access to the cabinet and keys there is a choice of control terminals that all include an integrated smartcard reader which allows most customers to make use of their existing proximity access control cards, PIN or both. There is also an option for biometric verification and a touch screen. The control terminal allows for full flexibility giving the option of having multiple key cabinets controlled from a single point or multiple control terminals controlling the same set of cabinets, this is an important consideration where disability discrimination regulations need to be met.
Deister Smart
The smart 4 is a compact key safe with four key slots. It is conveniently operated via the integrated RFID reader. Each user can be configured to access the key box with a code either using an RFID credential or a PIN. The system automatically releases only those keys for which the user is authorised.
This electronic key safe is particularly suitable for managing keys distributed across different locations. PINs can be easily sent by SMS or email and automatically change after each access.
The system ensures reliable operation through an integrated battery backup and a local database that continues to function even in the event of power or network failures.

The flexx key cabinet is available in five sizes and can be combined modularly. From 16 to several thousand key slots, this large key cabinet can be flexibly adapted to your requirements. The modular keyPanels are available with different slot densities, making it easy to manage both large and small key bunches efficiently within a single key storage cabinet.
For key handover, the user identifies themselves at the terminal, opens the cabinet door and removes the key from the illuminated slot. The slot locking system provides an additional level of security and prevents unauthorised key removal.
Deister Maxx
The compact proxSafe maxx 6U key box with automatic roller shutter provides efficient key management for modern office environments. Its robust steel housing offers space for individual keys as well as larger key bunches. Several boxes can be combined and controlled via one central terminal, making the maxx a convenient key cabinet with access code for everyday use. The 3U keyPanels from the flexx series are fully compatible.
Our maintenance-free and robust keyTags with RFID chips securely anchor the keys inside the box. The roller shutter provides an additional layer of protection against tampering. When a key is requested, the roller shutter opens automatically and the selected slot lights up red. Once the key has been removed, the roller shutter closes automatically.
