It also prevents a common procurement error: comparing access control only by reader or lock price, rather than by the full installed and supported solution.

Commissioning is equally significant. Permissions, time schedules, user groups, credential enrolment and reporting requirements should be tested against real working scenarios before handover. Consider the early shift arriving before reception opens, an engineer needing escorted access, a fire alarm event, a lost phone and a contractor whose work overruns by a day. These are the situations that reveal whether the system has been configured for operations rather than a demonstration.

Integration is valuable only when it makes an investigation, approval or daily task more effective.

Is SALTO KS the right fit?
