This is a new Sales position at Loktec that required a talented individual that can help Loktec continue to provide our customers with the best Security products and safe lock services. Alastair has a long and established career within the ATM industry. Alastair’s experience to date:

Telecommunications engineer & Company owner
Telewest (Virgin Media) Business system sales consultant
Helps start Cash Card Ltd in Jan 2000
Project Manager and then Installations Manager at Cardpoint Plc Operating 5000 +ATM’s
Promoted to UK Security Manager in Oct 2004 to tackle a major upsurge in ATM crime and Cash losses, which was then reduced successfully by implementing security strategy’s which included Loktec Products.
Helps Cardpoint merge in 2007 with Alphyra, to create Payzone and heads up Cashzone Security team
In May 2012 Alastair joins Loktec ATM Security Solutions and takes our 1st Sales position within the company. We are pleased to have Alastair join the team.

ATM Security ram raid and attack update – On the 18th March 2012 in Tamworth an Wincor 2050 ATM was attacked using a digger to pull the ATM safe out of the building! The Wincor 2050ATM was protected with Loktec’s ATM-PROTECT™ Armour systems, preventing the thieves from gaining entry to the safe and removing from the building.

BBC News report - Digger used in Tamworth cash machine raid bid “A digger has been used in an attempt to steal money from a cash machine at a Staffordshire industrial estate. Police were called to an alarm activation at a Co-op store. The incident appears to have caused substantial damage, but trading at the store has continued, the Staffordshire force said CCTV footage is being studied and inquiries are ongoing. ATM Security ram raid and attack update - GREEK BANK SAVES CASH with ATM-PROTECT™ - On the 6th March 2012 a Greek Bank’s in-store Wincor 2150 ATM was attacked in the early hours. The perpetrator’s attacked the ATM using an angle grinder cutter and tried to force open the safe with bars. The Bank had CH. Theodossis install Loktec’s ATM-PROTECT™ Body Armour panels. After an amount of time trying to cut the armour panels the thieves gave up now realizing they were wasting their time.
