Loktec returned to the IBP Symposium this year as a main sponsor with our very own display promoting our ATM-PROTECT™  Security Products.

Our slideshow presentation turned quite a few heads and impressed people with how our ATM-PROTECT™ Products would protect their ATMs for longer time, thus enabling the police more time to potentially catch theives on the scene.

Loktec would like to announce the arrival of our new Operations Manager – Shaun Walker. Shaun will be based at our Baildon, Bradford Warehouse and will oversee all engineering, fasbrication and installation work.

Shaun has a long and experienced history working within the safe and ATM industry.

At age sixteen Shaun started working weekends and the holidays with his father moving safes for a well established Leeds firm. Mainly to Public houses which involved installing various sizes of safe upstairs and anchoring them to the floor.

This then led on to swapping locks and repairing simple safe and lock faults. Shaun then moved into retailing industrial products and was the sales office manager at a company for a couple of years. At the age of 25 Shaun started up his own haulage company which worked in 3 specific ares, food trays, furniture frames and once again, Safes.  After 10 years of business experience Shaun decided to concentrate soley on the Safe industry again.

As well as dismantling vaults and relocating safes, Shaun now went into safe engineering on a full time basis. Fitting and upgrading time locks to safes and vaults, fitting electronic Kaba Cencon locks, key cutting, drill opens, Chubb and Assa locking systems and all other areas of safe and vault work. David Hardy (DHLL) and then Loktec Ltd has enjoyed a long term business relationship and employed Shaun’s services on many ATM projects.

Shaun has now spent many years working on ATM’s, from drilling open attacked ones to fitting upgrade kits, removing and installing, configuring and all other related ATM tasks. Customers to have experienced Shaun’s skills include, Bankmachine, The Co-operative Bank, Notemachine, Payzone / Cardpoint, Triton Europe and Wincor Nixdorf.

We believe Shaun will be a great asset to the Loktec Family and will help us as we progress and grow into the next decade.
